Troop 8 Treasurer, Ben Steves, observed that the Troop pays a significant fee to PayPal especially for higher priced outings, like summer camps, high adventure, etc., He worked with the bank to enable Zelle payments to the troop account - there is no fee charged to you (payer) or to Troop 8 (payee).

An Eagle Court of Honor celebrating the achievements of Matthew Apgood, Steven Herndon, and Nikhil Hotha will be held at Harlow Hall - North Chevy Chase Christian Church, 8814 Kensington Pkwy, Chevy Chase, MD on May 10, 2025 from 5-7 pm.

BT8 is working to finalize our summer camp registration by April 15. We are over capacity for the site we reserved, and as such we have a short wait list that we are trying to accommodate.
