" Communications MB " folder has been renamed to "Troop 8 Newsletters" Going forward, the Troop Historian (a scout leadership position) will be responsible for creating new entries for each troop outing. Mr. Scott Wunsch be assisting that scout with preparing the articles.

Please join us as we remove invasives and clean up NC4 grounds on Saturday, October 18th, 1-4 pm. We’re also tentatively reserving time on Sunday, Oct 19th to finish any remaining tasks. This is an important opportunity for BT8 to help give back and strengthen our partnership with NC4.

Summer Camp Advancement Records were recently imported into the TroopMaster system (Thanks ASM Andy Ventura) and the advancement team has been busy recording activities over the summer.

The Troop will assemble at the NC4 parking lot on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 8:00 a.m. and carpool to the Five Forks property.

Scouts should have a day pack with lunch from home, snacks and water. Dinner Saturday and Breakfast Sunday will be provided. An anticipated arrival by noon will be celebrated with an opening flag ceremony and camp set up. (Click here for directions to Five Forks campsite.)

Troop 8 will be heading on TWO Sea Base adventures in the summer of 2026! Scouts who will be 13+ can sign up for one or both of these adventures! A deposit is required to secure your spot.
