Communications Merit Badge classes will be offered this fall and winter starting October 21 at 7pm. Interested Scouts should contact Mr. Wunsch. Please include your rank and age. Participation will be limited, with preference given to higher rank scouts. A second session may be offered in the spring if demand warrants.

After a two-year hiatus, Troop 8 is heading back to West Virginia next year (Feb 7-9, 2025) for a skip trip. Please take 60 seconds to fill out a Google "interest" form so that we can see if we have enough interest to move forward.

For the 2024-2025 scouting program year, please pay your scout(s) fees through the "Online Payments" tab of the troop webpage.

Scouting America is moving to a system whereby individual membership and renewal fees are paid directly by the scouts and adult scouters for a 12-month period of time. BSA will be emailing individual scouts when the fees for BSA are due. BT8 fees to operate over the year are due now. BT8 annual dues are $100 for the first Scout in a family and $80 for each additional scout (covers the 2024 - 2025 program year).

We are still in need of adult volunteers to take the Troop 8 committee positions of Merit Badge Coordinator and Service Chair. Training is available! Please help the troop to function at its best by taking one of these important slots.
